EXPERIENCE
Dr. Michael Paveloff has provided virtually the entire spectrum of eye care to the Santa Barbara, Ventura and San Luis Obispo counties since 1996. Frequently, people also travel from Los Angeles and Bakersfield seeking Dr. Paveloff’s expertise in vision correction. He is recognized as a leader in the advancement of refractive surgery procedures and was the first surgeon in Santa Barbara to implant the ReSTOR multifocal lens. Likewise, the staff of Paveloff Vision Center is comprised entirely of certified ophthalmic technicians and certified ophthalmic assistants.

TECHNOLOGY
Bladeless, all-laser LASIK is here, making the procedure safer and more precise than ever. Dr. Paveloff individualizes the entire LASIK procedure including; a custom diagnosis with WaveScan measurements, a precisely tailored corneal flap with IntraLase, and a custom laser treatment with the VISX Star S4 IR laser.
Presently, more than 11 million LASIK procedures have been performed making it the most common elective surgery in the United States. However, it wasn’t until LASIK advanced into an “all-laser” procedure, combining IntraLase with wavefront guided lasers, that NASA approved it for astronauts facing the physically demanding conditions in space. Likewise, all-laser LASIK is now approved by the U.S. military.
Dr. Paveloff has the only LASIK center in Santa Barbara offering this very same technology.

Dr. Paveloff also offers the latest multifocal and accommodative lenses for cataract and astigmatism correcting surgery. Following a comprehensive examination, he will determine whether ReSTOR, Crystalens, or Toric is the best option for you.
