Dr. Michael Paveloff recently volunteered to participate in the "Panama Mission 2011" with Surgical Eye Expeditions (SEE) International. SEE International is a nonprofit, humanitarian organization that provides medical, surgical, and educational services by volunteer ophthalmic surgeons. Their primary objective is to restore sight to disadvantaged, blind individuals throughout the world. Since being founded in 1974, SEE International eye surgeons have examined more than 3 million patients and performed over 384,000 sight restoring procedures.

The objective of the "Panama Mission 2011" was to restore sight to 100 disadvantaged patients in 2 days. The goal was achieved as 105 cataract surgeries were performed!

"Working with SEE International is incredibly rewarding," states Dr. Paveloff, "I'm honored to participate in a program that helps so many people regain their vision."
